Lily y sus tres amigos han quedado atrapados entre las garras del cruel Gorgo. Sin resistencia de ningún tipo, el todopoderoso Gorgo puede llevar a cabo sus pérfidos planes que, a parte de hacerse construir una enorme escultura en homenaje a sí mismo, también incluyen esclavizar a la humanidad y obligarla a borrar de la faz de la Tierra edificios, carreteras y ciudades. El único problema es que los humanos no van lo bastante rápidos, son un poco flojos y se quejan constantemente, con lo que las obras no avanzan. Gorgo decide crear una raza mejorada de medio hombres y medio insectos gracias a la máquina del abuelo de Lily. Aunque el futuro se ve muy oscuro, una súbita esperanza nace en este nuevo mundo, que nunca más se parecerá al de antes.

Lily and her three friends have been trapped in the clutches of the cruel Gorgo. Without any kind of resistance, the almighty Gorgo can carry out his perfidious plans that, apart from having a huge sculpture built in homage to himself, also include enslaving humanity and forcing it to erase buildings, roads and cities from the face of the Earth. The only problem is that the humans don't go fast enough, are a bit lazy and constantly complain, so the works don't progress. Gorgo decides to create an improved race of half men and half insects thanks to Lily's grandfather's machine. Although the future looks very dark, a sudden hope is born in this new world, which will never look like the one before.
