Josephine Baker grew up in a poor neighborhood of a segregated city in the united States. Overcoming obstacles, she manages to leave her past and become a ballerina. Her way of dancing was very acrobatic, improvised, and at the same time, fun. She participated in events across Boston, New York, and Paris. During WWII, she worked as a spy, helping the French resistance against the nazis. She never stopped fighting for equal rights. She dreamed of an equal world where everyone was treated the same. Josephine Baker was one of the biggest and most brilliant stars in the world of entretainment.
